Functieomschrijving You will work in an engineering teamtogether with the project leader, project engineers and designers. You will also collaborate with test engineers and mechanics in the prototype test lab. Furthermore, you will interact with design review, purchasing, production and service.

Below list shows an overview of your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Follow up production: solve issues related with electrical components or control behavior and implement solutions
  • Offer support to the compressor technique service department to ensure the quality and robustness of our compressors
  • Design the electrical schematic of the compressor and select the necessary components
  • Selection of motor and variable speed drive for the compressor
  • Define the functional specification of the required electrical components: motors, drives, solenoid valves, sensors, contactors, transformers, filters, …
  • Follow up qualification of electrical components
  • Apply standards and regulations (IEC, UL, CSA, IEEE …)
Profiel Knowledge / Education
  • Strong general technical knowledge, with an emphasis on electrical engineering and control techniques
  • Good knowledge of motors and variable speed drives
  • Experience with autocad electrical / e-plan
  • Master degree in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering
  • Good knowledge of English
