The Project Integration Engineeris responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the delivery of projects of integrated solutions that have a complex technical design requirement.

Responsible for coordinating the input of various key internal and external stakeholders, they must have good communications skills.

Duties include network infrastructure design, network infrastructure installation and commissioning support, and 3rd party product integration with EBI to include EBI support and trouble shooting with the ability to complete basic log file analysis and EBI Custom Application Programming (i.e. Interface with Peoplesoft, SAP, CHOM, Identity management).

Integration Engineers must have detailed knowledge and competency to engineer CCTV-, Intrusion-, Fire detection- & Access control systems. Knowledge for BACNET, LON, Modbus, OPC, and other communication protocols as well as detailed knowledge and competency to engineer server, redundancy solutions.

Ability to coordinate and lead large system staging and FAT&SAT acceptance processes.

Integration Engineers are typically providing Field Technical Support and Training to application engineers.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of high end integrated security, fire and mechanical applications.
  • Assessment of customer site for installation requirements, installation design if needed and request by PM or PS.
  • Develop software, perform ‘bench testing’ if required and deliver commissioning package to field. Assist delivery in start up as required.
  • Complete complex and integrated system design, implementation and documentation.
  • Assist for application engineer during programming and site activities as well as technical project management.
    Consistent delivery of Exceptional Service Support solutions and innovation to customers.
  • Expansion of business value within the market via delighted customer philosophies.
  • Consistently exceeding customer expectation
  • Sales Assistance, involving innovative use of latest technology in establishing system design, and providing project estimates.
  • Prepare submittals per engineering standards, ensuring commitment dates are met. Review submittals with sales and delivery teams and lead team to obtain submittal approval.

Definition of scope:


  • Planning / scheduling of project execution.
  • Technical and personal development of junior technicians.
  • Provide technical direction to project team members.
  • Provide Technical Support to field technicians.
  • Use Quality Assurance procedures and ensure defect-free hardware and software to field delivery team.
  • Ensure applicable local and industry codes and standards are upheld.
  • Ensures that Honeywell SOPs are adhered to.

Goals:

  • Customer survey VOC metrics.
  • Complete assigned activities within agreed time.
  • Document Changes orders and delays.
  • Completion and issue of Design submittal in accordance with project planning requirements.
  • Timely risk and issue identification and mitigation.
  • Provide complex system support and application Training.


You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic.
  • Dutch and English fluent level - C1.
  • 3-5 years working in a projects environment, with extensive on-site knowledge.
  • Previous experience working with highly complex technical solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking, database technology, integration protocols, and current trends in the industry.
  • Proven track record in a project design and engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology based projects.
  • Previous exposure to a site base, construction environment.
  • Ability to plan and schedule the delivery of large technical project.
  • Self starting, able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Willing to develop extensive product knowledge in formal training, and in “on the job” environments, working with latest Honeywell technology.
  • Is a team player that is able to share best practice and develop engineering teams
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
