Project Engineer

The Project Engineer acts as the technical lead on engineering projects. They lead, coordinate and oversee the project design team in implementing the mechanical and electrical design of equipment for the metallurgical, special metals and aerospace industries through in-depth technical guidance and supervision

• Prepare documentation for investment requests for design and installation of process equipment.
• Specifying and/or purchasing key process equipment. Lead design and installation of production lines.
• Complete system risk assessments in accordance with industry standards. Develop and execute test plan to validate compliance with these requirements.
• Collaborate with EH&S technical experts to ensure project activities and outcomes comply with safety principles. This may include obtaining applicable permits for project implementation.
• Understand quality standards for products and processes and develop effective technical solutions that provide sustainable long-term value.

• You have a master’s degree in electro-mechanics
• You have process knowledge and basic chemical knowledge.
• Knowledge of materials is a plus.

• An annual salary of 65,000 - 75,000 EUR, depending on your experience and knowledge you can bring with you.
