Are you experienced in scheduling and project planning? Are you interested in working on offshore wind projects?

We are looking for a Project Planning Engineer to develop, track, and maintain project and tender schedules in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. You will ensure these plans meet contractual requirements and support efficient project execution.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop, track, control, and maintain project and tender schedules according to company standards.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and teams across the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction departments to integrate their feedback into schedule planning.
  • Tailor the WBS in coordination with the Project Manager and other project team members to align project deliverables and milestones.
  • Ensure efficient setup of project schedule plans at the start of each project, in collaboration with the Project Management team and JV partners.
  • Timely set up and update tender schedule plans during the tender phase, working closely with the tender team, senior project managers, JV partners, and client representatives.
  • Continuously work with the Project team to develop and maintain detailed schedules and clarify project interfaces among all involved parties.
  • Identify and follow up on potential schedule issues, proposing solutions to optimise project plans.
  • Review schedules to ensure they are compliant with contractual requirements and suggest corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor deviations from planned schedules and analyse any discrepancies with the Project Management team.
  • Produce regular project schedule reports for both internal management and external clients, highlighting progress and any critical issues.

Functie-eisen

  • Must possess a technical background with an engineering degree or equivalent proven experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a scheduler, including at least 2 years in scheduling complex EPC projects.
  • Experience in engineering, construction, and/or commissioning phases of projects.
  • PMI certification is required.
  • Proficiency in Primavera software is mandatory.
  • Experience with offshore projects is an advantage.
  • Capable of gathering and summerising information from various sources.
  • Excellent communication and reporting capabilities with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, client-oriented mindset, and quality-focused.
  • Must be a team player who is driven to achieve accurate results.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French or Dutch also necessary.
