Job Description

  • As a Senior Public Relations Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our clients’ PR strategies.
  • You will lead client engagements from inception to execution, providing strategic counsel, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • In detail:
  • You develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns tailored to each client’s objectives and target audience.
  • You serve as clients’ primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships through proactive communication and strategic counsel.
  • You lead media relations efforts, including pitching stories, securing media placements, and managing media inquiries.
  • You create budget proposals and manage your clients’ budgets throughout the projects.
  • You provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • You monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations to clients.
  • You oversee the development of press materials, including press releases, media advisories, and fact sheets.

  • Languages
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in public relations, with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and implementing PR campaigns.
  • Previous experience in a public relations agency, managing international clients from A to Z, or equivalent experience on the client side as a spokesperson or corporate communications manager.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narratives.
  • Proven media relations skills, with established relationships with journalists and influencers across relevant industries.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, focusing on driving measurable results for clients.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools and familiarity with social media platforms and digital PR tactics.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
