I’m currently working with a client based in Ghent who are hiring for a QA Automation Engineer on a payroll basis.

Since recently hiring a new Director of Engineering the company have gone from strength to strength and are looking at scaling the Engineering team with the best talent in Belgium.

An overview of the job role:

- You will work together with engineers from other teams to improve and standardise the QA processes within the business.

- You will critically test the infrastructure and methodology, to improve it and present this to the different teams, which will allow them to pick the best practices.

- Where possible, you attempt to automate the testing.

- You dedicate time in the month to do exploratory testing to find bugs which are less obvious.

- You have 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering or QA.

- You have experience with TypeScript or any of the modern JavaScript frameworks.

- You have strong communication skills.

- You have knowledge of the testing automation frameworks such as, Gauge, Selenium etc..

- Experience with cloud technologies is a big plus!
