The Supply Chain of Terumo Europe consists of several departments within EMEA, that make up the EMEA Supply Chain team. Supply Chain Planning, EDC Warehousing, Transport and Customer Service are the building blocks of our cross-functional, end-to-end global partnership. The primary purpose of the team is to ensure customer satisfaction as well as the timely delivery of all orders. In addition, there is a close collaboration with Project Management, the Quality Departments and all our Business Units. Job Summary

As a passionate S&OP Manager, you will collaborate with the leadership, as well as other key roles within Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Life Cycle Management and Operations. By fulfilling your role, you will establish and lead these functional areas through the standard execution of a global S&OP process for the assigned product portfolio. Thereby, you will contribute directly to ensuring that the capacity and materials are available to support the worldwide sales plan. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Planning Manager EMEA.

Job Responsibilities

As our S&OP Manager, you will manage and drive the monthly S&OP process. You will lead the execution of business processes to establish a consensus demand forecast in units that can be used to drive supply chain activity for existing and new products.

You will engage Finance, Sales, Marketing and the Business Units to evaluate their forecasts in comparison to actual sales (e.g. volume, trends, mix). In addition, you will evaluate forecast variations beyond acceptable levels and use the results to shape future forecasts. You will also facilitate discussions between the different functional areas of the business in order to develop mitigation plans for anticipated supply gaps.

By fulfilling your role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the inventory target settings to meet customer service levels, while minimizing potential write off. Deviations with a financial impact will need to be reported directly to the management.

You will facilitate regular S&OP cycles and execute all facets of its processes. Therefore, you will also oversee the end-of-process reviews with organizational executives, concerning sales plans, issues and mitigation actions. Additionally, you will ensure data integrity withing the full S&OP cycle.

You will liaise with Supply Chain organizations from Terumo Group to optimize and standardize Terumo Global S&OP processes. You will also support other activities for the set-up and execution of the global SCM strategy.

As a S&OP Manager, you will coach, organize and motivate your team members. Thereby, you will support them in their daily job. In addition, you will ensure optimal internal and external communication.

You will assist the Supply Chain Planning Manager in seeking continuous improvement for managing the daily operations. You will also discuss and raise operational issues to the management and collaborate in order to find solutions together.

Profile Description

You have obtained a University degree or provide an equivalent expertise through working experience. In addition, you can look back on at least 3 to 5 years of experience within S&OP

You are experienced in supply chain management, change management and process optimization. In addition, you posses a broad understanding of the multiple functional areas within a company, in order to understand their different objectives.

You are energetic and posses a strong motivation, as well as an extensive willingness to learn. Additionally, you possess courage, strength of character and perseverance.

You possess a high attention to detail, as well as good analytical and presentation skills. documentation of tenders and contracts. In addition, you possess strong problem-solving skills.

You are fluent in Dutch, English. This entails both the verbal and writing skills. Proficiency in other languages will be regarded as an asset. In addition, you possess good interpersonal and people management skills. Being knowledgeable in SAP IBP or similar systems will be regarded as a plus.

You are willing to travel when it is required.
