The job
As Sales Engineer Industrial Automation Services, you will promote and sell of a broad range of technical services including the start-up, maintenance, testing, retrofit, and upgrade of all major industrial automation equipment installed at the customer’s site.
You will be selling turnkey projects ranging from simple replacement of equipment to fully engineered solutions. You identify the scope of work, estimate and sell system adds/modifications and maintenance agreements, and meet customer needs.
You will develop close and lasting relationships with customers in industries such as Chemical, Life Science, Waste Water, Food & Beverage, Heavy Industry, and OEMs.

Customer focus
Based in Belgium you will be actively meeting your customers, developing the business and executing the sales plan. Your experience in dealing with both new and existing customers and your structured way of managing the sales process in Salesforce makes this your home ground.
It is essential for you to secure customer satisfaction overseeing all ongoing activities.
You participate in the preparation of analysis and reports on field service performance. You work closely with Inside Sales, Product Application Engineers (PAE) and the account managers to maximize business opportunities. You keep Field Services Marketing leaders informed on offers’ feedback and needs.
You educate customers on Schneider Electric products and services, and you provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to your colleagues.

We imagine that you have:
- A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electronics, Service Engineering or similar.
- Solid experience in a technical sales area, experience in the specific sector is a plus.
- Knowledge in selling services offers is preferred (consultative selling).
- Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- You are bilingual Dutch/French and you have a good knowledge of English .
