Sales Excellence Manager With Significant Change Management Skills

Your challenges

Joining our Global Commercial Enablement & Impact (GCEI) team, you will be part of a collaborative team enabling our frontline colleagues to succeed in their day-to-day activities with our customers and partners. GCEI is a key part of the Global Commercial Excellence team, where our focus is to support our regions and markets and ensure we ensure development of our frontline colleagues to meet the changing demands from customers and market environment.

In this role you will work with colleagues in Global Commercial Excellence and across functions to define and implement the Sales Excellence agenda in close collaboration with regions and local markets. You will have an important part in defining and rolling out new global ways of selling with the aim to maximize our sales efforts across our customer touchpoints. You will have a key role in building programs that ensure adoption of the global sales framework within Region Southwest Europe. You will be responsible for providing our Sales Managers and front-line employees with the necessary content, tools, and training frameworks to efficiently meet our sales goals. In addition, you will play an important part in ensuring we have the right sales enablement, performance and CRM tools and processes in place to deliver an effective and efficient selling process.

We are looking for a commercially oriented individual who can guide set our Sales Excellence direction ahead of the curve when it comes to sales models, methodologies and enablement and is excited about empowering our great frontline colleagues.

In addition, your primary tasks include:

  • Develop and implement global sales framework in close collaboration with our regional functions and local markets (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Netherlands).
  • Build best practice into sales training programs and ensure adoption of the global sales framework.
  • Identify the organizational needs for sales training and translate those needs into sales training with our sales training team and other relevant functions.
  • Maintain engagement with our customer groups by supporting and equipping our Sales Managers with solid performance management processes and tools.
  • Ensure our CRM system becomes an enabler of growth by identifying commercial needs and converting them into solutions in good collaboration with IT.
  • Deliver key frontline effectiveness through projects within segmentation models, value propositions, project sales, performance management etc.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this position, the right candidate enjoys working in a matrix organization, has solid change management and strategical thinking skills, ability to implement plans in a complex organization structure and motivate people to work with a common agenda. Moreover, the person has good presentation skills, can work in a time-sensitive situation and is not afraid of having complex conversations.

Criteria for this position is that we have a clear and aligned sales excellence strategy linked to training portfolio, CRM processes and one that matches market needs.

Furthermore, you have / are:

  • Proven work experience from a Sales Excellence role and/or experience from a Management Consulting firm with demonstrated ability to develop and implement Sales Excellence projects (min. 4-5 years)
  • Organizationally savvy with high stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence on all levels
  • Experienced in working closely with sales teams across markets with a good understanding of key sales management capabilities
  • Sound problem solving skills and high commercial understanding including the ability to identify commercial needs and translate them into solutions
  • Prior hands-on experience with CRM systems and knowledge of sales processes is a plus
  • Able to speak fluent English at least one of the local languages in the Region
  • Willing to travel around 20-30 days per year
