SALES Meeting & Events TRAINEE
POSITION SUMMARY:
The global Meeting & Event (M&E) industry is an exciting and innovative segment. It is a key focus for Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) and an integral part of our growth strategy. The Sales M&E trainee will work within RHG’s Global Sales organisation to drive M&E business, supporting both area sales teams and the hotel portfolio. They will report to the M&E Manager EMEA.
DURATION:6 months, starting July 2022
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Manager M&E in developing and rolling-out a host of key initiatives to drive M&E business across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), including implementing new systems and tools, training, reporting and communication.
- Keep all sales communication content up to date and available and help to develop new resources to enable the global sales team
- Work with the sales systems to understand the sales process and facilitate the process for sales teams.
- Develop data-driven insights to enable informed decision making.
A SUCCESSFUL TRAINEE:
- has to be enrolled in a school program in order to be eligible for the internship
- has a sharp eye for detail and is very accurate and precise
- has good excel, word and power point skills
- is fluent in English, both verbal and written
- must be able to prioritise and work within tight deadlines
- is trustworthy, has a high level of passion and integrity
- can work in Europe
