Overview

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO). We provide Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Job Summary

Medpace Reference Laboratories (MRL), a sister company of Medpace, is a full-service central laboratory with locations in Cincinnati, Ohio; Leuven, Belgium; Beijing, China; and Singapore. Medpace has the local presence to conduct a clinical study anywhere in the world.

Our laboratory activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking full-time, office-based Assistant Sample Archive to join our team in our laboratory in Belgium. This individual will be responsible for basic administrative duties as well as the handling and delivery of clinical samples and other materials.This position will work with a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Responsibilities
  • Handle samples;
  • Perform data entry;
  • Unpack shipments;
  • Prepare sample shipments to be sent to third-party lab;
  • Perform data corrections; and
  • Handle dry ice and other materials.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Phlebotomy or other medical/Biorepository experience desirable;
  • Prior experience in the laboratory desirable;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset;
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft® Word and Excel;
  • Prior sample management experience preferred; and
  • T eam-worker and detail-oriented with good time management skills.

Working schedule : Tuesday – Saturday
