We are currently looking for an SAP Data manager who will leads the Verviers site’s data management team in developing , maintaining and complying with best demonstrated practices of master data management.

SAP Manager works with a wide variety of stakeholders across the Verviers site and is main point of contact to provide guidance and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the ERP Process/ Data Management Team for creation and maintenance of part codes in SAP (Material Master).
• Manage the ERP Process/ Data Management Team for creation and modification of BOMs, Recipes, resources, COA Profiles, Inspection Plans and Inspection Characteristics in SAP.
• Ensure SOPs related to new part set-up, BOM, recipes are up to date and compliant to BDPs.
• Work with Evaluation Team to calculate a cost for the new incoming customer requests and products.
• Act as Walkersville coordinator for Lonza global ERP master data issues, projects and changes.
• Manage Master Data project in coordination with stakeholders to ensure milestones are met.
• Develop, monitor and enforce data management policies
• Ensure data quality and accuracy is maintained through analysis, validation, and auditing procedures.
• Work with Data Analytics to measure operational performance (PvA) and adjust process data (recipes, BOMs) accordingly in the SAP system under periodic review.
• Mentor Team to global strategies and policies.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Degree: BS Supply Chain Management Business Management, Data Management or related field
• Fluent in English and French
• 4-5 years of SAP Master Data experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience should include advanced understanding of Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, BOM, Routing, Production, Quality, etc..
• Min 2-3 yrs leading a team
• Proven ability to design business processes managing data through the lifecycle
• Strong understanding of data management best practices to ensure accuracy, security and timeliness.
• Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support supply planning and site manufacturing strategy recommendations
• Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis
• Strong computer skills using SAP ECC, Excel and PowerPoint. S4 HANA and IBP a plus
• Ability to utilize Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports.
