You as a SCM specialist, will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in the Charleroi (Jumet), Belgium. As SCM specialist you are responsible for Sourcing, selection and negotiation of the best purchase package in terms of quality, price and conditions with suppliers.

Your responsibilities
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and other relevant documents in accordance with company guidelines and global guidelines.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels of materials and products.
  • Ensure completeness and updating of purchase records and prices in SAP.
  • Prepare reports and summarize data, including expenditure analysis.
  • Support the commercial and technical departments with quotes for tenders.
  • Processing and monitoring of complaints to factories and suppliers.
  • Coordinate on-time delivery with suppliers and subcontractors.

Your background
  • Education at bachelor’s level or equivalent based on experience.
  • Experience with SAP, in particular the MM, SD and PP modules, is required.
  • A good knowledge of French/English is a must.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and easily set priorities.
  • You are client-focused and have the ability to cope with the pressure of achieving demanding goals and working within tight deadlines.
  • You have an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • You are a real team player.
