Energize are actively seeking a Senior ABAP Consultant for a freelance assignment with one of our key clients for a project based in the Lommel area.

Project Information

The client plans to setup one of their plants as a separate entity in a separate SAP client (both SAP ECC 6.0). The request is to implement the As-Is functionality (copy from the existing client).

The SAP configuration on the logistics, commercial & finance side (procurement, sales, logistics, quality management, F&A Pricing) will be copied ‘As-Is’ by their internal resources. However, they expect some additional development work that needs to be done:

  • Extending the specific functionality to work for this separated entity/plant in this new client
  • Extending any programs used in the direct purchase and sales end-to-end processes copied from the current client to make them work for this separated entity/plant (You need to find out any hardcoding for old code 1000 and have programs adapted to work for this separated entity/plant)

    • Skills & Qualifications

    • Extensive ABAP development experience
    • Strong debugging capabilities
    • Previous experience in similar ECC migration/separation projects
    • Deep understanding of SAP ECC in logistics, sales, and finance contexts
    • Hands-on presence in Lommel (3 days/week) is required

    Contract details:

    • Languages: English (compulsory) + Dutch (desired)
    • Start: September 2025
    • Duration: 3–6 months
    • Hybrid: 3 days per week in Lommel (BE)
