About the job:

Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Mons, which is the leading provider of Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities such as the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) and the NATO CIS Group. CSU Mons enables end-to-end CIS services and manages critical technological capabilities during peacetime, crisis and war.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Assistant (Logistics) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Oversees the CIS equipment in the CSU’s area of responsibility including: receipts of materiel, the issue and custody of property, and establishing and maintaining property accounts;
  • Takes responsibility for asset management transaction requests and for ordering CIS equipment;
  • Provides logistics services to customers in accordance with Service Level Agreements;
  • Executes tasks in relation to Receipt, Storage, Distribution, Exchange, Movement and Disposal of CIS Assets;

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience;
  • Working knowledge of ITSM;
  • Experience and knowledge in Asset Management procedures;
  • Experience in Order and Inventory Management methods within an Enterprise Business Application (e.g. Oracle);
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
