Within this business ambition, the sales department will also be further expanded and streamlined.
Job content
The purpose of this position is to further define the sales roadmap, which includes functional analysis, and to guide itsrealization.
The Senior CRM Functional Analyst will work closely together with colleagues from business, who will help define the roadmap and key business requirements for the IT applications. It is the task of a functional analyst to ensure that business requirements are translated into a workable IT solution. He/she will translate the business requirements into a functional and technical analysis and then coordinate the work with the various IT partners to ensure that the necessary IT development work is properly implemented.
In the CRM domain, the focus is to further rollout and improve the SAP C4C experience. The intention is to ensure that CRM supports the internal processes better, especially in sales, but also technical service, warranty and claims/complaints. Within sales, the purpose of CRM is to support the sales team and insights about project pipeline, customer/leads, etc. C4C should become the sales teams toolbox and support it to achieve its targets.
The Senior CRM Functional Analyst will be expected to take initiatives with regard to i.a. efficiency gain, transparency, follow-up, customer segmentation with all available information about the touchpoints (web, physical, transactional data), providing proactive insights to sales reps (e.g. which leads to contact, customers with churn risk), optimization of sales collaterals.
The Senior CRM functional analyst will take up the role of project manager when needed and can grow over time to consistently take up bigger and bigger projects.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You are responsible for the further roll-out of the CRM applications. The main focus at the moment is the Sales domain, but Customer Service must also be considered.
- Together with the business, you determine the further roadmap in the Sales domain and you are responsible for its realization. You proactively look at the CRM market and see which functionalities, novelties and alternatives are relevant to the company.
- You are hands-on and contribute to the functional and, if necessary, technical analysis of the CRM application.
- You manage the relationship with the external partners who are responsible for the development and you direct these development resources.
- Besides analyses, you are also responsible for training users, writing manuals, testing and optimizing the CRM solution. You coach the employee who supports you with these tasks.
- You supervise a project from A to Z; you take on the role of project leader.
- You will be in charge of leading a monthly steering committee (SteerCo).
- Your tasks and responsibilities can be divided into approximately 30% defining roadmap, steering and alignment (demand management), 50% functional analysis and 20% managing the development team and organizing support.
Within this playingfield, you are free to determine the best way of working & follow up for the team.
Profile
Background and experience:
- You have at least a bachelor degree or equivalent through experience;
- Preferably you have 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- You have a strong affinity with IT, CRM, sales and/or marketing and you are willing to learn new software;
- Knowledge of/experience with SAP cloud for customer or another CRM package is a plus;
- You are an enthusiastic and communicative team player with a hands-on approach.
- Stakeholder management has no secrets for you; you can smoothly work together with a diverse group of business colleagues (in an international context), solve conflicts, align violins and you also dare to say no.
- You like to approach things in an analytical and process-oriented way;
- Your eagerness to learn, to work in a planned way, your critical mind, your accurate & structured way of thinking and acting perfectly describe your talents;
- You speak and write fluently Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus;
- Your permanent workplace is at our headquarters in Puurs, but you are flexible and can also regularly commute to our office in Deinze. Sporadic trips to our offices abroad are also possible.
