Core Responsibilities
- Independent and autonomous order processing and monitoring of specific key accounts in the Benelux region in cooperation with the respective key account managers
- Coordination and booking-in of deliveries and planning of truck volumes in cooperation with the contacts in our European central warehouse, the carriers and the central warehouses of our customers with a focus on distribution costs.
- Order-intake management Balancing customer orders with the customer’s inbound capacity and our transport and outbound capacity in our European central warehouse. Monitoring of possible customer monthly budgets.
- Make-to-order process Coordination of customer-specific assortment and display orders for the Benelux Region in cooperation with Sales and the European MTO team.
- Support in the area of order management. Creation and consultation of processes in interdepartmental teams. Implementation of operational processes (international goods distribution, reporting, availability analyses, central order controlling and monitoring of SI plans).
- Processing of returns and complaints. Including the organization of collection via the forwarding agent.
- Active partner management with a variety of internal and external interfaces, as well as customer support and customer advisory services
This role can be based from our offices in either Belgium or Netherlands, we have recently introduced a hybrid working model called Best of Both, giving employees the flexibility to work 3-days in office 2-days per week from home (please note we do not offer any relocation or visa sponsorship support for this role).
The Customer Operations Team is responsible for the order-to-cash process for LEGO Benelux. The team works with external customers ranging from major multinational retailers to local businesses. It is a fast paced area which rewards planning and a collaborative approach. You will help to optimize the flow of goods and consumer sales for LEGO. Customer Service help to deliver perfection in execution and to ensure the best possible availability and range for our consumers.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent working experience.
- 2-3 years of working experience in a customer service or sales administration team with focus on data analysis.
- Excel super user and experienced user of the Microsoft office package
- Analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Excellent partner management and team spirit
- Result and customer orientation (Reliability and accuracy)
- Strong interest in process improvements and also approach this independently and actively
- Having worked with SAP, Office 365 (Microsoft Teams and Power BI)
- Experience with order management and business intelligence solutions
- Experience working with cross functional processes across the value chain within a global organization.
- Experience with EDI
- Proficient in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
