The Experience We Are Actively Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Automation).
  • At least five years of experience in engineering or industry within project teams.
  • Strong expertise in electrical systems, with a preference for high-power applications.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and/or automation (PLC, DCS) is an asset.
  • Experience in HV is an additional advantage.
  • Proficiency with CANECO (or equivalent) and Dialux software.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and make decisions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
  • Eligible to work in Belgium (European nationality or valid work permit).

The scope of this intrapreneurial project is **to lead and execute electrical and instrumentation engineering tasks within complex industrial projects, ensuring technical accuracy, stakeholder coordination, and operational efficiency**.

The Key Responsibilities Expected From Our Consultant Are

Completion Role

  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial projects in MV (MT) and LV (BT).
  • Perform network sizing and industrial lighting design.
  • Specify MV panels (TGBT, MCC) and electrical mounting equipment.
  • Develop electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, motor lists, and cable lists.
  • Conduct cable calculations using specialized software (3EI, Caneco, or equivalent).
  • Write technical specifications and documentation.

Evaluation Role

  • Compare supplier offers and establish technical comparisons.
  • Participate in FAT and SAT tests for electrical panels, both locally and abroad.
  • Ensure quality control and validation of electrical installations.
  • Participate in commissioning, start-up, and performance testing of industrial units.

Coordination Role

  • Engage with suppliers and oversee orders up to workshop reception.
  • Supervise designers and review technical documentation.
  • Coordinate electrical engineering activities with other disciplines, purchasing, and project teams.
  • Attend technical meetings with clients and respond to their requests.
