Here at Just Eat Takeaway.com, we’re one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing food delivery businesses. In 2020, we delivered over 500 million orders to around 60 million happy customers across 23 countries. Strategic Accounts (chain restaurants with more than 5 restaurants) are gaining importance within our business. To ensure we can provide a better experience to Strategic Accounts and grow our business, a separate ‘Strategic Accounts’ department has been set up, as part of the Sales function.
Our mission is to become the largest and most preferred partner of the international chain brands and deliver on our vision of “empowering their every food moment”. Can you act as the trusted advisor of our strategic chain partners and can you help them achieve commercial success? Then we’re looking for you!
All about the role
- Being responsible for the HQ-level acquisition and
- Leading or participating in negotiations and signing country framework agreements and/or franchisor contracts with chain HQ
- Setting sales targets in collaboration with the Regional Manager
- Acting as the ’Trusted Advisor’ and initiating, building and developing long-term relationships with all strategic accounts on country HQ level
- Tracking and analysing market (developments) and competition’s activity
- Developing Joint Business Plans and driving regular Business review/Performance review meetings
- Analysing and optimising processes to increase sales performance
- Liaising with Regional Manager to align on improvements for your specific chain portfolio
- Catering to special requirements of chains (product features, analytics, co-branding, reporting, invoicing)
- Being the ’voice of the customer’ and building a strong cross-functional network (e.g. ’squad’ with Product, Customer Services, Marketing) to provide the best services to your chain restaurants
- account management activities for international & multinational chains
Can you deliver…
- 5+ years experience in sales roles, of which 3 years at least in key account management
- University degree in management, economics or similar.
- Proven track record of commercially sound decisions.
- In-depth experience with Chain & Key Account Management
- Proven track record of making commercially sound, data-driven decisions
- A customer-focused and innovative outlook, optimising work processes across your job
- Fluent English (written & spoken) and excellent communication skills
- Acts on opportunities, generates new ideas and acts decisively in an often agile and ever-changing environment
- Ability to absorb information quickly and deliver at pace
- Proactive, sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
