The role –


As Senior Manager B2C Operations, reporting to VP Supply Chain Operations, you will take a leadership role in growing PMI’s direct to consumer channel by helping us to build best-in-class operating models and deliver an unparalleled consumer experience.

Growing regional and global logistics and last-mile capability will be a key responsibility as we expand our Reduced Risk Product (RRP) portfolio, through LSP management and governance, and creating a central best-practice business model as our products become available in more markets around the world.


Your ‘day to day’ -


LSP selection and development -
  • Partnering with Procurement and global markets, you will own the selection and development of LSPs, ensuring we achieve excellent service levels at optimum cost while meeting all internal and external requirements.
  • Lead global LSP strategic overview, and the delivery of a harmonised approach to LSP selection across all markets.
LSP performance management and continuous improvement -
  • Build a framework for performance management, defining key measurable and targets, enabling daily operational control of B2C order processing.
  • While partnering with Operations Customer Services (OCS) and Commercial market teams on management of LSPs, you will handle business critical issues and lead on creating innovative solutions.
Last mile delivery SLA’s and MSA’s framework -
  • You will coordinate contractual requirements and conditions among several internal groups (Finance, Procurement, Markets, Quality, Security, IT, Tax, etc.)
  • Manage the definition of sophisticated and business critical LSP MSA terms.
B2C diagnostics and capability build -
  • You will define which business critical and future capabilities are to be developed, piloted, and deployed.
  • Lead the development of the B2C logistics warehouse innovation roadmap, encompassing network design, automation, packaging improvements, etc.
Strategic cost & process improvement -
  • Implement warehousing and transportation process standardization through strategic interventions.
  • You will optimise analytical and digital tools to achieve gains in process efficiency, cost reductions and performance measurement.
  • Evaluate opportunity to consolidate our B2C and B2B business under the same LSP and location to optimize cost and service.
Team Management
  • Develop a team of 4 FTEs while preparing plans to adapt the size, roles and responsibilities within the team in line with strategy and ideal state vision defined.


Who we’re looking for –


  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related topics
  • 10+ years of diverse Supply Chain experience, ideally spanning multiple subject areas within large, international FMCG or consumer electronics organisations.
  • Recent (last 2-3 years) experience creating and implementing B2C/DTC/D2C network designs, route-to-market, logistics, last mile services, global cross-border shipments, reverse logistics strategies in a dynamic e-commerce environment.
  • Knowledge of logistics suppliers and service companies in direct-to-consumer network, with proven experience of leading collaborative logistics outsourcing relationships across a wide range of geographies and hierarchy levels
  • Effective negotiation, communication and influencing skills with the ability to inspire change in situations of decentralized highly matrixed organizations and across a diverse audience.
  • Ability to quickly process and understand complexity & ambiguity and define right solutions to tough problems. Has curiosity to look for new ways & opportunities to bring value, simplify processes and/or reduce cost
  • Ability to comprehend global strategies from the perspective of multiple organisational pillars (Commercial, Digital, Finance and Supply Chain), translating external and internal requirements into multi-year plans for B2C function.
