As a Senior Procurement Manager in capital construction, you will be responsible for leading the creation, execution, and management of comprehensive integrated category strategies for engineering services globally; as well as leading sourcing strategies for engineering and construction services in support of GSK’s capital plan for the EMEA region.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

• You will lead the global category for engineering services globally
• You will lead procurement for all major capital projects in the EMEA region
• You will conduct complex negotiations for global categories and be assigned portfolios to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• You will benchmark externally to ensure GSK practices and strategies are aligned with current market practices
• You will build strong internal collaboration & sponsorship with stakeholders to deliver the ambition
• You will lead robust SRM program with key suppliers, including contract performance and governance
• You will manage and reduce a pool of suppliers worldwide through preferred supplier usage
  
  

Next to that, you will also be expected to:

• Develop strategy for the procurement of capital construction designed to ensure that GSK’s capital projects delivery value to the business
• Collaborate within team and key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans
• Generate value in terms of quality, delivery, and cost; contribute significantly to organization’s goals and objectives-Experience delivering quality, compliant, timely, well-specified agreements to generate a clear return on investment for GSK

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Master’s degree
• First proven experience in capital construction
• Strong project management experience
• Deep knowledge of CAPEX
• Demonstrated ability in managing categories is required, particularly with respect to developing & implementing strategies, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management
• Demonstrated experience in influencing strategy and managing across multiple geographies and supply chains
• Demonstrated experience in managing global/ regional projects with consideration to diverse LOC needs and regulation (eg taxes, law, regulation)
• Able to work in a matrix environment and with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
• Negotiation skills and proven assertiveness
• Analytical skills & ability in prioritizing multiple tasks across multiple projects

• MBA
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders
