As a Senior or Expert System Engineer "Cloud", your mission is to maintain and improve the existing infrastructure to ensure maximum availability of our customers’ services. Your role doesn’t stop there!

This job will allow you to constantly develop your technical knowledge thanks to the different projects you will participate in. You will work in a very interesting technical environment (our private cloud is spread over two datacenters) which evolves with time. Your colleagues will also allow you to develop your knowledge in project management. You will be involved in projects for different types of customers and structures.

- Responsibilities -

After being onboarded, you will have to :

• Become a solution owner to be a driving force responsible to evolve our solutions. This aims on the one hand is to improve its security/reliability and on the other hand, to evolve the functionalities in order to remain a competitive product on the market.
• Support our sales team on technical level during the presales phase in order to provide the best advice to our customers.
• Take charge of the technical aspects of our customers’ migration projects to our cloud solutions

- Profile -

Must-have :

• Bachelor or Master degree in IT
• Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally in a shared infrastructure management for several customers
• VMware expertise: good knowledge of vCenter, DVS, vMotion, storage vMotion, DRS, storage profile, vCloud, vRops and experience with most of these products
• Experience in setting up and managing storage & hosts (mainly Dell, Lenovo)
• Mastery of the different parameters that allow to size cloud infrastructure (IOPS, deduplication, compression, cache, CPU & Memory loads, power usage, rack design, active-active infrastructure, disaster recovery, etc. ...)
• Good knowledge of metro-node solutions
• Good knowledge of disaster recovery solutions and best practices
• Knowledge and mastery of backup (Veeam) solution
• Very good knowledge of Dutch/French & English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Implement and improve security best practices regarding our cloud infrastructure
• Mastery of a large part of operating system (Windows & Linux)

Nice-to-have :

• Knowledge of Dell Data Domain / Power Protect
• Knowledge of IBM Power i
• Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP
• Knowledge of advanced networking
• Knowledge of Azure
• Experience in project management
• Trilingual Dutch/French/English
