Functieomschrijving

• You will act as senior process Engineer for predefined projects within the team. In this role you design the most economical processes in terms of security, environment, profitability and process reliability.
• You act as Consultant concerning Process issues for our clients in various industries.
• You lead the simulation, calculation and dimensioning of processes.
• You lead the set up of PFD’s, P&ID’s, datasheets, process descriptions and all other process related deliverables as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
• You act as HAZOP Chairman.
• You will take an active role in technical commercial client contacts, and in the bidding for process related scopes of work.
• Together with your colleague Sr Process Engineers you are responsible for the further widening and deepening of Process Engineering tools and know-how within the division

• You are a chemical engineer, with focus on process techniques.
• You have minimum 5 to10y experience with the design and/or operation of Process installations.
• You like to network and you are strongly client oriented both for internal and external clients.
• You are a team player. You like to work in a multidisciplinary context.
• You are able to work in Dutch and English.

“Via een jobbeurs en na enkele gesprekken, ben ik als enthousiast groentje gestart bij Sweco. Onder de vleugels van ervaren senior engineers werkte ik eerst op kleinere projecten en leerde ik hoe je die op een efficiënte en doelgerichte manier aanpakt. Al snel werd ik ingeschakeld op grotere projecten waarbij ik verantwoordelijk was voor de rekentechnische stabiliteit. Vandaag werk ik aan bouwkundige projecten bij een industriële klant. Hierbij coördineer ik het team en werk ik mee aan verscheidene projecten. Dit gaat van een simpele controleberekening naar complexere verbouwingswerken, verwezenlijking van greenfield constructies tot conceptstudies. Ik zit een tot twee keer per week ‘on site’ bij de klant, om progressies en mogelijke problemen te bespreken. Ik ben ambitieus en vind het belangrijk dat er een blijvende uitdaging aanwezig is. Die heb ik bij Sweco gevonden!”
