About Company

Stroom supports a cool and young (trying not to use the word scale up, but did it anyways) company with hiring a senior supply planning manager to join the team. They have a unique offering based around supply chain management solutions, solely focusing on the PLAN process. Our client has a very strong representation in everything considered planning strategy, process improvements, data management and tool implementation. One big pillar of the business is S&OP, on the other hand they are supporting manufacturers who are looking more and more at how accurate supply planning & detail scheduling combined with industry 4.0 and AI can improve their operations.

Job Description

The senior supply planning manager is an important position in this second business line. We are looking for someone who will have direct impact on the growth of the company and by doing so you will enable yourself to grow into that director role in a couple of years. This position reports into the COO and you will manage a team of experienced consultants with a lot of theoretical know how. What they need is an experienced business counterpart who will have a good sense of the impact of certain decisions on the ‘production floor’. If we change this process, or we implement this tool, what will be the direct consequences in operations?

Requirements

What to have in your backpack:
  • Solid experience in supply, detail scheduling / MPS, close to the operations. Once again, it’s about building cases, understanding the impact of planning processes on operations, solution architecture in fact. Ideally you are a senior manager with both the operational and strategical insights.
  • You have played a key role in the implementation(s) of planning tools on regional or global levels and understand perfectly the ‘what is needed’ and ‘what is not’.
  • Leadership shows in different ways, you inspire your team and are able to put everyone in their position of strength but you are also able to work closely together with other leaders. Often times you will communicate with the executive and C-level of clients.
  • We are looking for someone authentic, self-steering, trustworthy, what you see is what you get, intrapreneurial and knowledgeable.
  • You are based in Western-Europe and willing to travel.

We are quite flexible in salary ranges but would be aiming at 70K – 95K EUR / year + car + bonus + other fringe benefits.
