Site Intelligence Development Specialist

Acts as a primary contact to the Director of Site intelligence to lead application and technology stack development.

Applies skills and discipline knowledge to solve complex Site Intelligence and Selection development projects.

Collaborates across functional lines within CD&O and WRD, Functional Service Providers (FSPs).

Works in conjunction with Site Intelligence analytics team and will receive instruction primarily on challenging or complex problems.

• Takes appropriate risks to advance new concepts and methodologies for the design and optimization of data analytics and technology related projects in Site Intelligence & Selection.
• Perform data cleaning, transformations, validations of internal and external data sources.
• Develop data warehousing, implementation and predictive modelling to support healthcare domain technologies.
• Application of statistical analysis and feature engineering in machine learning models.
• Manages technical and development pipeline for analytics tools for Site Intelligence to support senior level discussions
• Builds, designs and maintains custom tools such as data collection, information libraries and communication materials to assist with site intelligence activities.
• Additionally, runs operational and technical aspects of large global projects and assists with other Company system activities related to the site intelligence.
• Promotes a continuous improvement culture to streamline appropriate processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Maintains effective relationships with other platform lines, Business Units/Research Units, and enabling lines that facilitates effective portfolio delivery.

• In general, candidates for this job would have the following levels of experience in Data/Computer Science:
• BS/Equivalent – 4 years
• MS – 2 years
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Javascript and other programming languages
• Proficiency in Tableau and/or Spotfire

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in an agile based data/application development environment and familiarity in data science principles, concepts, practices and standards.
• Experience in recommendation engines, Random forest, NLP and text mining.
• An eye for detail and ability to problem solve data/analytical challenges and provide high level insight to a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong presentation skills, interpersonal skills, as well as a team-oriented approach. Excellent verbal, written, communication and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask under tight deadlines on several projects with specific and unique requirements, while providing attention to detail and high-quality work.
• A quick learner with the desire to contribute and support the design and implementation of technical and analytical insights and management of development platforms.
• Demonstrated success/results in prior roles including matrix organization.
