Description/Profile

  • Create IT architectures in projects, for a wide variety of software applications
  • Make traditional applications “cloud-native” or “cloud-ready”
  • Give directions to the development teams on how to upgrade older Java libraries to new libraries.
  • Interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Create IT architectures based on recent best practices and architecture principles
  • Help steer the future direction of the architecture vision, architecture principles, cloud native strategy

This function requires a broad interest and knowledge of standard modern technologies and test driven design and domain driven design, including the following: Java, Spring, JDBC, cloud-based applications, CI/CD (Git / Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, OWASP), REST, AWS (optional), Kubernetes, Containerized deployment / OCI (docker) Containers, J2EE application servers (Websphere, Weblogic).
