About Us

Spott is building the next generation recruitment platform designed to help recruitment firms double their revenue. Founded by 3 MBB (Mckinsey, Bain and BCG) consultants with firsthand global experience in the recruitment agency space. We are backed by Y-Combinator and are looking for a 10x engineer to join us on our rapid (international) growth.

About You

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with a track record of delivering outstanding products and features for large scale use
  • Ownership: We minimize process and keep each other accountable.
  • Sense of urgency: We care a lot about doing our best work and have a bias to deliver results faster.
  • Humility: We are pragmatic in delivering results. No task is below us.

Key Responsibilities

We are product-obsessed. Everything we create needs to be better than any existing version of it on the market - and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that standard is upheld.

  • Manage the E2E development process of product features, including backend, architecture, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
  • Co-shape the ethos, principles, and methodologies of an expanding engineering department
  • Take part in product refinement, brainstorming, prioritization sessions and impact both WHAT and HOW we build.

Tech Stack: Next.js, Typescript, Tailwind css, shadcn, Node.js, Postgres, Prisma, Docker, CircleCI, Azure, Terraform
