Software Engineer (m/w/d)

As Junior Software Engineer (m/f) at I.R.I.S. Canon Group, you will play an active role in the build-up of international market for our solution platform IRISXtract™ for Documents.

After a familiarization phase, you will work independently for well-known end-customers and partners as part of a creative team.

Position responsibilities:

  • support Technical Leads/Architects in the development of our new cloud platform for intelligent document and data recognition.
  • write quality code for new applications and features with a dynamic team and ensure the quality of the software solutions. .
  • improve, develop new functionalities of the platform based on the needs of our clients
  • Work with a team to ensure our product meets their standards for enterprise software applications

· Place of Work: Aachen (Germany) or Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
  • Practical experience with agile software methods (Scrum)
  • Practical experience as application developer with Java ,C++, Python
  • Experience| Knowledges with processes, tools and methods of modern software engineering and agile development (Jira, Git, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of noSQL / relational databases is given
  • Creativity, independent working style and curiosity about unknown topics
  • Excellent knowledge of English, French or German a plus
