The role:
Solution Advisor is responsible for driving and co-owning Multivendor sales, business development, and marketing activities. The role functions as a partnership with the primary account manager and as a result is not limited to traditional “overlay role” restrictions, the Solution Advisor is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to developing new business in the region and help existing customers with any questions relating to Multivendor. The Solution Advisor is the publisher lead in the region for pre-sales (both transactional and professional services) customer engagements and sales enablement for the respective region. The role also serves as the liaison between the assigned sales team, customers and publishers and distributor. The Solution Advisor works close with the Solution Specialist to transform our traditional resell to a managed services.

This person is responsible for providing an advise based upon the best solution connected to the applicable specialism. Working closely together with the Consultants and Advisors in an independent way with regard to our publishers. This role implies setting up and presenting the advice to the customer, development of portfolio, informing the organization of our customer, supporting Sales and securing knowledge with regard to the applicable specialism. The Solution Advisor is responsible to maintain an advanced level of knowledge of all services and products of the applicable publisher or theme’s. The Solution Advisor is expected to take a consistently proactive approach in developing business in his specialism.

Is able to translate the needs of the customer into the best solution for the customer.

Covering our strategic renewal business with our customers. Face to face advice to optimize, manage and maintain their current contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting BDM / IS to create quotations for all VMWare, VEEAM and Commvault business.
  • Supporting BDM / IS / customers for licensing related questions in your own portfolio.
  • Provide trainings about our Multivendor processes and different tools.
  • Maintain a good relationship with the vendors and suppliers.
  • Achieve all necessary certifications within your vendor portfolio.
  • proactively initiating and following up renewals projects and other opportunities?
  • contributing to the correct and adequate administration of opportunities in NAV
  • Analyze customer historical data in order to upsell and gain new sales opportunities
  • Quickly identify, address and solve customer account issues.
  • Onboarding new customers to PyraCloud. Lead and coordinate with PyraCloud enablement staff to ensure accurate visualization of customer data in PyraCloud. Build strong relationships with the PyraCloud staff in GSDC.
  • Able to demonstrate proficient use of ONESales and upselling customers to SoftwareONE’s offerings.
