Job Purpose
The Country Marketing Director is responsible for the overall marketing and communication strategy for the country/region and each of its divisions. Financially accountable for both vendor and non-vendor funded marketing, the key purpose of the role is to drive growth in the channel via enablement, educational and demand generating activity resulting in growth for TD SYNNEX and both the vendor and partner community.

The Country Marketing Director is responsible for the overall marketing and communication strategy for the country/region and each of its divisions. Financially accountable for both vendor and non-vendor funded marketing, the key purpose of the role is to drive growth in the channel via enablement, educational and demand generating activity resulting in growth for TD SYNNEX and both the vendor and partner community.
Responsibilities:
- The Country Marketing Director plays a pivotal role in developing, driving and communicating the strategy, performance and culture of the business whilst being financially accountable for the delivery of the annual operating plan (AOP) for marketing across all divisional P&Ls (full cost vs income model)
- To work collaboratively with our partners ensuring visibility remains high within both our vendor and reseller communities.
- To work with Business Unit and Sales leads to ensure that the quality, direction and style of all marketing activity adheres to and delivers the company’s goals and objectives whilst also meeting the needs of our vendors: Drive quality marketing programs that deliver ROI for both the vendor and TD SYNNEX; Development of marketing campaigns to increase customer acquisition and retention.
- Effective and efficient campaign execution using the full marketing communications mix.
- To be a thought leader, driving innovation and adoption of new marketing practices in order to stay ahead of both the competition in the channel and from external agencies. As such, the Country Marketing Director will play a key part in the strategic priority to digitally transform TD SYNNEX.
- To lead, whether directly or indirectly a team of Marketing Managers aligned to and working in partnership with each Business Unit Director. Responsible for ensuring the success of this matrix management structure, the Country Marketing Director must ensure that the company’s marketing strategy is delivered whilst meeting the commercial demands of the business units.
- To manage the relationship and collaborate with key internal stakeholders within the Local, European and WW Marketing teams in order to deliver and roll out repeatable and measurable programmes across EMEA
- Lead the implementation of all corporate marketing activity including key customer & vendor events in the country & Europe as well as owning the process around award entries and sponsorship.
- To oversee the management of all external relationships with 3rd party marketing service providers ensuring value add to the TD SYNNEX business and brand.
- Management of TD SYNNEX’s external presence and brand positioning across all marketing channels and methods including online content and quality.
- Manage the local PR pipeline activity and work with the World Wide Investor Relations team this role is the custodian of the brand and oversees all press communications with the goal of ensuring coherence to style, tone of voice and content

- Knowledge of vendor fund management and ability to influence senior people in leading IT vendors
- Ability to demonstrate end-to-end campaign management from inception through to revenue generation
