Supply Chain Officer

Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which is selling parts, lubricants and consumables for compressors with customers from across the world. As part of an industry leader within this market, our objective is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables, or lubricants for compressors. Our customers are mostly small to medium sized companies, which are in more than 90 different countries around the world.

To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Supply Chain Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase Order Processing: Create and process purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring all order details are accurate and placed in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
  • Supplier Coordination: Follow up with suppliers to secure order confirmations and ensure lead times are adhered to.
  • Delivery Tracking: Monitor supplier deliveries to ensure they meet promised lead times and promptly address any delays.
  • Order Prioritization & Issue Resolution: Collaborate with customer service and other departments to prioritize urgent orders and resolve any open order issues.
  • Supplier Relationship Support: Build and maintain positive relationships with 100+ global suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth operations.
  • Claims and Complaints Handling: Act as the main contact for supply chain-related claims and complaints, ensuring quick resolution and investigating root causes.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to align on stock availability and customer expectations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Organize transport from suppliers to the warehouse, ensuring timely deliveries and continuously improving logistics processes.

As a Supply Chain officer, you will be part of our Operations team.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive professional with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience in supply chain or order processing, preferably within the manufacturing or spare parts industry.
  • Strong understanding of order management and supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamic Web is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in German and French.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Detail-oriented and skilled in order follow-up and administration.
