Alpha Trains has owned and leased locomotives and passenger trains for more than 20 years. More than 120 employees of various nationalities are active across Europe. Our approximately 850 locomotives and passenger trains are utilized in 19 European countries.


Your Role

  • Prepare and place purchase orders for spare parts, repairs, maintenance service
  • Collect order approvals and signatures for contracts and framework documents
  • Manage capital spares and warehouses
  • Process incoming invoicing: allocation to orders, update the order book, forward the invoices
  • Manage customer warranty claims in close collaboration with our Engineering Department
  • Introduce an ERP software system for supply chain and procurement

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years administrative experience in supply chain or procurement
  • Proficiency in English and excellent knowledge of German - any other European language is a plus
  • Experience in using an ERP system, ideally D365
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills
  • A problem solver, able to work both in a team and independently
  • Good MS Office skills
