We are looking for a Logistics supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, receipt of goods and shipping. He/she will supervise a team of warehouse staff and logistics specialists. He/She will report to the Supply Chain Manager.
Job Duties:
  • Manage inventory as well as warehouse, receipt of goods and shipping, and other logistics processes
  • Select carriers (inbound) and negotiate contracts and rates.
  • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
  • Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
  • Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
  • Manage and develops logistics staff
  • Create and manage budgets
  • Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.


Profil

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics.
  • Experience in similar job and/or Logistics specialist of minimum 5 years
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in French and good English basis (writing & speaking)

Offre

We offer you a temporary contract followed by a permanent contract or a permanent contract directly if you are employed in a great company in Nivelles;

  • Full-time
- Monthly salary +- 4000 € gross
