The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and manage the materials and inventory of materials needed to produce products within area as well as manage the shipment of products to warehouse/customers to meet delivery expectations of the business. To accomplish this, this role covers maintaining both physical and electronic (SAP) inventories based on business objectives, ordering materials based on MRP or other specific replenishment plans. This position will ensure material quality and delivery performance is maintained to correct standards and work to correct issues with supply chain. They will work closely with the Master scheduler, Production Leader & Customer service team to ensure execution according to desired quantities and quality, correct inventory management and on time delivery. This position requires coordination of delivery against standards established by business expectations, and daily continuous improvement efforts.
