Introduction: Aeris Technologies (aerissensors.com) is specialized in manufacturing state-of-the-art trace gas analyzers. Due to strong growth, we are expanding rapidly globally and in Europe specifically.

For helping us, we are looking for an engineer or scientist

Responsibilities:

  • 80% of your work will be: Supporting existing and potential customers using Aeris’ equipment by:

Performing maintenance and repairs on Aeris’ equipment

Installing Aeris’ equipment at customer’s site (Europe)

Helping setting up experiments (local or at customer’s)

Keeping detailed stock requirements and performing basic logistical tasks

  • About 20% of your work is applications, settings up experiments, talking to customers about technical possibilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, IT, Physics, Chemistry,...
  • Fluent in English. Proficiency in other European languages being an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independent.
  • Nice-to-have-skills (not obligatory):
  • Statistics
  • Electronics
  • IT (linux, Python,…)
  • Pneumatics (mechanics)
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment with a strong international focus.
  • Experience in trace gas monitoring, spectroscopy, computer science, or similar fields would be considered a strong plus.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to learn is more important than prior experience (you will surely learn a lot, you will be involved closely in the academic world).
  • Ability to quickly master and understand all technical aspects of the business and be flexible towards new product introductions.
  • Open-minded and flexible.

Location:

  • Based in European lab in Geel, located in the Antwerp region.
