We’re looking for a curious System Commissioning Engineer

With over 35 years of experience in the rail industry and in close cooperation with our customers, we design, produce, and maintain all of our products and solutions. But for that technology to enable our customers to excel, we need a curious System Commissioning Engineer. Why curious? Working as a System Commissioning Engineer
  • You create, carry out and report on on-site test procedures (full function testing of our system), possibly in the presence of (inspectors from) the client;
  • You investigate problems, diagnose and repair faults and perform overhauls and retro-fits if needed;
  • You offer improvements suggestions to R&D and Product Management and advise on operational procedures and system behavior whilst ensuring safe work conditions;
  • You create reports with the necessary technical detail to support R&D in finding solutions;
  • You participate in weekly status updates and best practices meetings with your team.
  • You provide extensive training to maintenance and operative staff, both on onboard products and wayside software tooling.

Professional Skills We’re Looking For
  • You have technical expertise in the domain of system testing;
  • You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or electronics;
  • You have knowledge of IT, software and networking technology;
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently.
