For our client we are actively looking for a System Engineer Network & Security in Belgium. As a System Engineer Network & Security you are responsible for the design, installation and configuration of the global network and security infrastructure.

Functional Description :

• Management of the WAN, firewalls, security perimeter and switches.

• Defining projects that you realize independently, together with colleagues or with

suppliers.

• Contributing to a high-performance and stable IT environment.

• Determine the concepts and standards of the environment in accordance with the vision

and strategy of the company.

• Act as the last internal link in the support process of the ICT department.

Required Knowledge and Experience :

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in an ICT direction and have at least five yearsof

relevant experience.

• You are familiar with network technologies and routing protocols.

• You work methodically and project-based.

• You have knowledge of the assigned technology domain: Switches/routers (Cisco,

Aruba), Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), F5, SSL Encryption, VPN and Monitoring.

Notions of ITIL and ITSM tools are a plus.

• Good knowledge of Dutch and English is required.
