A company active in the banking sector is currently seeking to recruit a Systems & Project Officer in Brussels.
As the new Systems & Project Officer you will coordinate, manage and implement development projects, migration projects and business tools related to Accounting in order to bring accounting and other systems into compliance with national and international legal and regulatory requirements and to meet internal management information needs.
Some of your main tasks in the position of the Systems & Project Officer will include:
- You will take charge of the accounting development projects of the banking and insurance activities
- You will ensure the quality and performance of the accounting and financial systems
- You will carry out preliminary analyses and compile files in order to be able to meet the business requirements within the framework of an ICT project application
- You will participate in the elaboration of the new accounting schemes during the creation of a new product/service etc. and then implement the new schemes in the accounting and financial systems
- You will analyse the accounting schemes, define the content of the CRE-CRI accounting protocols
- You will implement the accounting systems and coordinate the tests
- You will monitor the recovery and production start-up
- You will draft clear and exhaustive documentation of the accounting systems for both ASP and non-ASP treatments
- You will inform and train people concerned by those systems (back-offices, IT, audit, etc.)
The ideal candidate for this position holds a degree in Economics, IT or an equivalent professional experience.
The candidate has a knowledge of Banking and Insurance products/services and a good knowledge of Business Tools.
The candidate is fluent in Dutch and French.
