Mission overview

We are currently looking for a Senior SAP Financial Consultant to support the realization phase of a key SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The ideal consultant will have strong expertise in the Financial (FI) module, with excellent knowledge of end-to-end Finance processes and integration with other SAP modules.

The consultant will be responsible for taking over the project in its realization phase, analyzing the existing design, managing ongoing developments, and ensuring the delivery of a solid and integrated financial solution.

key responsibilities

Take ownership of the FI stream during the realization phase of the project

Analyze and validate existing solution design, propose improvements if needed

Lead configuration, development follow-up, and functional testing of SAP FI components

Collaborate with other functional teams (MM, SD, PP) for cross-module integration

Draft clear and detailed functional and technical specifications

Ensure smooth handover to support teams and participate in user training when required

Support monthly and yearly financial closing processes

Collaborate with stakeholders to align on financial reporting and consolidation needs

✅ Required expertise

SAP FI core areas (strong hands-on experience)

Accounts Payable (AP) including VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) tools like Onbase

Accounts Receivable (AR)

General Ledger (GL) and Asset Management

Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processes in US context + payment run integration

Credit Management

WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) Management

Financial Consolidation and Embedded reporting via CDS views (Embedded Analytics)

Monthly & yearly closings

Technical & project-related skills

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of Rise with SAP environments

Experience writing technical specifications

Good understanding of CO (Controlling) is a plus

Excellent knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP modules

Ability to quickly ramp up on ongoing projects and adapt to existing project structure

Strong communication and coordination skills with key business stakeholders

Knowledge of authorization concepts in Rise

Familiarity with agile or hybrid project methodologies

Prior experience in international or multi-company rollouts
