SGS Health Science carries out all type of services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, from coordination and running of clinical trials with new molecules or techniques on human beings, to support and consultancy on post marketing registration activities. SGS Health Science has also expertise in the quality control of pharmaceuticals.

In the spirit of continued growth and to help improve our business, we are currently seeking for an extra Team Manager Data Management (TMDM) - Mechelen

Job Description

The main responsibility of the Team Manager Data Management consists of providing leadership and support to his/her data management team in the execution of all the data management aspects of the several projects running within his/her team and this together with the coordinators of the team.

This contains the data programming as well as the data cleaning activities of Data Management.

The TMDM develops and maintains an efficient resource planning and is involved in the completion of budget proposals for new projects or change orders. He/she is also in close contact with the sponsor but as well with all internal stakeholders like Project Managers Biometrics, EDC team, Secure Data Office team, Statistical team and Data Technology.

The TMDM’s are also involved in the internal process improvement initiatives.

You will report to the Head of Data Management.

Qualifications

Do you recognise yourself in the following skills:
  • You have a Master or a PhD degree in Sciences
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English, other languages are a plus
  • You have a good knowledge of the ins and outs of the Data Management processes
  • You are very discrete and can handle confidential information
  • You are stress resistant
  • You are quality minded and accurate
  • You have very good people management skills
  • You have very good communication skills
  • You are pro-active and have good planning/organizational skills
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of all biometrics activities and especially of data management activities
  • You have a problem-solving mind
  • You have a positive mindset
