In this leadership role, you are an internal technical master at the line level who ensures the line team is performing at a level that sustains and improves business results on one or more of 6 stars model. You model priority setting, manage the plan-do-check- adjust cycle and provide coaching and training for your team.

How You Will Contribute

You are a key ingredient in helping us change how the world snacks. You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them. You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed [e.g. safety maps, lock out tag out (LOTO) , behavior observation system (BOS) and root-cause analysis (RCA)], that quality assurance activities are performed to ensure zero harm and 100 percent good-quality products, and that resources are properly allocated and available during the shift. You will take the lead for shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

What You Will Bring

  • Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
  • Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
  • Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3
  • Leading line teams
  • Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully
  • Influencing people in a union environment
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and good attention to detail

Dit betekent dat je ervoor zorgt dat de faciliteiten goed worden onderhouden, dat er een regelgeving/procedure is en dat deze wordt geïmplementeerd, dat de risico’s/aspecten worden beoordeeld, dat ongevallen veroorzaakt door onveilige handelingen en omstandigheden, worden verminderd en dat energieverbruik en afval omlaag worden gebracht.

Hoe je zal bijdragen

Je zult:
  • De culturele transformatie met betrekking tot HSE leiden om de fabriek te helpen bij het bereiken van nul ongevallen en incidenten
  • Verantwoordelijk zijn voor het coördineren van en toezicht houden op de implementatie van alle programma’s en processen voor gezondheid en veiligheid
  • Deelnemen aan onderzoeken om de afhandeling van geïdentificeerde afwijkingen te vergemakkelijken
  • Zorgen voor expertise op het gebied van gezondheid en veiligheid voor alle nieuwe projecten en change management activiteiten
  • Afwijkingen opvolgen en systemen ontwikkelen om deze op basis van een root cause analyse (RCA) op te lossen
  • Zorgen voor een up-to-date systeem voor het melden van incidenten, helpen bij het onderzoeken van incidenten in samenwerking met het HSE-team/veiligheidscomité en de voltooiing van corrigerende maatregelen stimuleren om root causes/terugkerende factoren te elimineren
  • Technische begeleidingsprogramma’s ontwikkelen om fysieke gevaren te identificeren en verwijderen

Jouw profiel

Je wenst je toekomst vorm te geven en je carrière te versnellen. Je brengt ervaring en kennis op het gebied van:
  • Ervaring op het gebied van milieuhygiëne en -veiligheid
  • Moet de training voor milieugezondheid en -veiligheid hebben voltooid op gebieden zoals OSHA, EPA, DNREC
  • Ervaring in veiligheids- en/of milieutechnische normen
  • Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatievaardigheden en het vermogen om te werken met personen op alle niveaus
  • Inzicht in en kennis van door regelgevende instanties vereiste rapporten en naleving, inclusief ervaring met ISO
