About Hydrogen Europe
Hydrogen Europe is the European association representing the interest of the hydrogen industry and its stakeholders and promoting hydrogen as an enabler of a zero-emission society. With more than 300 companies and 27 national associations as members, our association encompasses the entire value chain of the European Hydrogen and fuel cell ecosystem collaborating together with the European Commission in the Fuel Cell Hydrogen Joint Undertaking.

Job description
An experienced and passionate professional able to help accelerate the uptake of hydrogen in the maritime and aviation sector through your capacity to analyse, report and present technical information. You will report directly to the Mobility Manager and work in close collaboration with the Intelligence and Policy units and the members of the association.
Main responsibilities
- Follow-up and report on the latest developments and projects regarding hydrogen and hydrogen-based fuels and hydrogen technologies for maritime, aviation and ports,
- Work in a structured way on EU funded projects related to decarbonization of the ships and ports,
- Dissemination of relevant information to the Hydrogen Europe team and members of Hydrogen Europe,
- Organisation of meetings and working groups,
- Developing common positions and position papers,
- Facilitating contact between the hydrogen sector and stakeholders in the maritime and aviation sector,
- Represent Hydrogen Europe in external events/meetings,
- Actively participate in discussions in task forces and working groups.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years work experience in the maritime/aviation sector,
- At least a Master’s degree in naval architecture, engineering, or environmental sciences,
- Capacity to analyse, report and present technical information regarding hydrogen in maritime, aviation and ports in an understandable way,
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines,
- Capability to work within and across teams,
- Ability to respond to high volumes of work from various sources, to prioritize and meet deadlines,
- Excellent numerical skills, including capacity to collect, organise and analyse quantitative data,
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the working of the EU institutions and EU legislative process,
- Knowledge of European policies aiming at decarbonizing the maritime and aviation sector and capability to understand technical subjects,
- Good knowledge of the hydrogen value chain,
- Knowledge of other European languages.
