In search of a Technical Sales Specialist - Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs)

We specialize in developing Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), and other cutting-edge maritime robotic systems. Our mission is to revolutionize the way maritime operations are conducted, enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability in marine industries worldwide.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team and drive the growth of our maritime robotics technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a deep understanding of the maritime industry, and a proven track record in sales and marketing. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of engineers and industry experts to bring innovative solutions to market.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the maritime industry, focusing on unmanned surface vessel solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in target markets.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored proposals, presentations, and solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals through strategic planning, effective negotiation, and closing of deals.

2. Technical Expertise:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of unmanned surface vessel technology, capabilities, and applications across various sectors such as defense, security, offshore energy, environmental monitoring, and research.
  • Articulate technical features and benefits of our USV solutions to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations.

3. Demonstrations and Training:

  • Organize and conduct engaging and informative demonstrations of our unmanned surface vessels for prospective clients, showcasing their performance, functionality, and advantages.
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to clients on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of USV systems.
  • Coordinate logistics and logistics for client demonstrations and ensure a seamless and memorable experience.

What do we expect?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the maritime industry or related technology sector.
  • Proficient in English, Dutch & French.
  • Deep understanding of maritime operations, including knowledge of vessel operations, offshore energy, marine research, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close complex deals.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
