What are you going to do

As a Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing timely and knowledgeable technical support to our customers on our Document Automation product. In this role no day will be the same. The technical support you provide goes way beyond asking customers if they have rebooted their systems: it is researching the software at the customers end, digging to find the issue, and then solve it. But also, you will be the one training our customers so that they are able to work with the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing quality service;
  • Document and troubleshoot issues using our internal reporting tools;
  • Establish and maintain a knowledge base and forum to support clients;
  • Monitor the arrival of tickets and offer troubleshooting (level 1);
  • Inform customers of the status of application availability (cloud services);
  • Provide emergency technical support outside of regular business hours.

Your colleagues are located all over the world remotely, but we have offices in the Netherlands (Veenendaal), Belgium (Sint- Niklaas), Canada (Quebec), the US (Salt Lake City, Utah). You will work remotely and in our Belgium office in Sint-Niklaas in a hybrid setup. We expect you to be able to come to the office once a week to meet with the team and follow trainings.

Who are you

You are a team player who loves to help others and seek for the best in the people around you. With your experience in customer support or product support you know how to communicate best with customers, and you care about relationships. You are open and approachable and eager to learn more everyday.

Furthermore, we ask:

  • Experience working in the IT branche;
  • At least 2 years of direct customer support experience, preferably within a SaaS or technical based business;
  • Experience analysing and resolving support issues;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally;
  • Detail oriented, demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues;
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills in English;
  • You live nearby the office in Sint-Niklaas or are able to come to the office once a week.
