Underwriter Property
Zurich Commercial Insurance is currently looking for an Underwriter Property for the office in The Hague in the Netherlands. You have a passion and background within Property Insurance? Do you combine analytical and critical thinking with a hands on attitude and commercial flair? We have the job for you!

Key Accountabilities

Together with your colleagues you will build up your expertise further in Property. Team work is key alongside the independent coordination of your own customers and portfolio from A to Z. You’re a transparent communicator and you want to broaden your professional network with a passion for the Insurance business.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Manage, maintain and develop your portfolio with expertise in Property insurance
  • Manage, develop and broaden contacts with insurance brokers and service providers and your internal colleagues
  • Evaluate and analyse the insurance risks for Property by processing data, analysing information and fact finding consolidation to result in accurate decision making
  • Coordinate, follow up and process all administrative requirements regarding your customers and contacts where you work in a well arranged manner with and on your files
  • Develop and roll out of new products by combining financial and analytical knowledge with assertiveness and commercial approach
  • Focus on results with a passion for the business
  • Keen on further developing your expertise
  • Work and contribute towards an excellent team performance

Requirements/Profile
  • At least a Bachelor degree or equal (technical background)
  • 3 to 5 years of affinity with underwriting in Property insurance
  • Fluent communication in both Dutch and English
  • Technical knowledge with commercial flair and analytical thinking
  • Motivated and result driven
  • Affinity with IT systems and software
