Job Title: Vice President, Global Clients Europe

Reporting to President Global Clients Europe

Location: Europe ideally the candidate is based in either Belgium, UK, France or Germany.


Key Areas of the Role:

Purpose:

The Vice President, Global Clients Europe (VP GCE) is a vital member of our Global Clients Europe (GCE) Leadership team, reporting to the President Global Clients Europe.

GCE is responsible for the sales of protective services to new international clients and the management and development of the GCE clients. The VP GCE leads this latter part of the business, working with the current GCE clients.

GCE clients are buying a global program, which is client specific and depend on the outcomes the client wants to achieve. This can include amongst others international account management, standardisation of security services or innovation. These programs are delivered as a service called ‘Managed By’ which comes on top of other protective services delivered to the client.

The VP GCE is responsible for:


Strategic Account Management:

  • Leading the team of specialists who are working with the different GCE clients and delivering the Managed By services
  • The execution of the agreed global programs by and with the team of specialists allocated to these clients
  • Overseeing the design, enhancement, implementation, reporting and oversight of GCE operations, human resources and compliance. Ensuring overall quality and efficiency of the operations.
  • Execute operationally orientated aspects of the strategic agenda of GCE
  • Owns and leads the solution transformation program across the GCE portfolio in close cooperation with the central and in-country solution teams
  • Challenge existing business frameworks and assumptions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Develop reporting that informs operational performance and decision making
  • Monitor key metrics to ensure that budgeted deliverables are met
  • Monitor key metrics to understand if the organisational goals have been met and improvements are effective
  • Champion activities that accelerate solutions growth
  • Translates the GCE strategy into actionable goals across the business, leading the communication so that all team members understand their role in the delivery of the strategy and feels a part of the future success of GCE
  • Driving operational excellence on a consistent basis
  • Identified short, medium and long-term goals are on-track or met.
  • Execution of GCE solutions transformation program
  • Monitor GCE financial & strategic metrics


Delivering Security & Risk expertise:

  • Be a knowledge leader in security & risk management, lead and influence the team and clients in this area.
  • Co-create global security programmes together with clients, based on the in-depth knowledge of risk - and physical security management.
  • Drive and implement the agreed global programmes together with the Managed By team and other experts within the company.
  • Drive innovation in the security set-up for clients, with the aim to deliver higher value to the client and Securitas.

Client Engagement:

  • Acting as an advisor to our global clients and prospects in terms of physical security management
  • Supporting the GCE sales team with developing tailored global programs, specific for a client’s needs and expected outcomes
  • Be a real partner with our GCE clients by increasing the value we deliver to them and having them exceed their expectations and projected outcomes
  • Bringing the value-added products and services available in Securitas to the GCE clients. E.g.: Learning Hub (LMS), Global Reporting Tools, Remote Services, …
  • Increase the value of the client portfolio for Securitas while increasing the value we deliver to our clients. A concrete expectation is to transform traditional guarding operations into higher value solutions.
  • Generating leads that the GCE sales team can turn into additional GCE clients.
  • The VP GCE will ensure that Securitas delivers an outstanding service that is client focused and efficient at all times.
  • Ensure that sustainable, client focused, quality services are delivered
  • Actively engage in the development of client centric service concepts
  • Lead the executive sponsorship program for the nominated GCE key account relationships in order to drive further growth with these clients

  • Line Management responsibility for the GCE Managed By team

Leadership & relationship building:

  • Provide leadership and collaboration to our country level and other Global Client organisations to implement the GCE strategy & support the GCE President in building capability across the organisation.
  • Interact with many stakeholders on different levels both in Securitas and within the client organization across multiple countries.
  • Accountable as a strategic leader driving & implementing the global programmes across the GCE portfolio.
  • Maintain close relationships with counterparts in other regions, Securitas partners and vendors
  • Champion initiatives to support Securitas values & ethics by Leading by example and demonstrating Securitas’ core values.
  • Bringing Securitas company purpose to life by making it tangible to all the team and our clients, highlighting and rewarding best examples
  • Promote positive cultural change and implement new methods of working to support continuous improvements, high quality service, and a consistent approach which all enhance the client experience
  • Provide inspiring leadership for the team giving clear direction and objectives measuring the performance of these objectives in a consistent manner
  • Building strong and trusted relationships and network with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business

Person Specification
:

  • Acting always according to the highest ethical standards
  • Ten plus year experience in international security management with at least 5 years being at Area Director, Global Account director, Corporate Security Director or senior global security consultant level.
  • In depth knowledge and experience in enterprise risk management, supported with relevant certification(s) in these areas.
  • Successful experience in developing and executing global security programs.
  • In depth understanding of a client’s business context and business challenges, through a Master in business administration, an equivalent degree or experience.
  • Experience of working with international Clients
  • Experience of leading culturally diverse teams to achieve a common goal in multiple regions and countries.
  • Knowledge of digitalizing security activities and experience with using data to proof ROI to the client and proposing alternative security solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Driven by innovation. Improving processes, security solutions for clients and integrating new technology products or services.
  • Account Development experience
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Ability to work under own initiative and under pressure when required
