Vesuvius is a global leader in metal flow engineering, providing a full range of engineering services and solutions to its customers worldwide, principally serving the steel and foundry industries.

The Vesuvius Flow Control division focuses on developing leading-edge core engineering technologies to be used in the continuous casting process.

Inside Vesuvius Flow Control, the RCT Lab team is responsible for receiving, checking and storing the equipment ordered. They then assemble the parts, set up the test installation plan in the workshop and carry out the basic tests. To strengthen the team, they are looking for a Warehouse Operator.

???? As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a key role in the flow of goods by efficiently moving items in and out of the warehouse.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Managing incoming goods and inputting information into our system
• Facilitating the transfer of mechanical components
• Conducting quality inspections of commercial products
• Preparing and processing assembly orders
• Organizing packaging and/or collaborating with external partners
• Handling loading and unloading tasks (utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes)

Requirements

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for candidate with the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, adhering to strict security protocols
• Basic understanding and proficiency in mechanical assembly
• A strong commitment to safety
• Proficiency in French with a solid command of English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fundamental understanding of hydraulics and related skills
• Capability to interpret technical drawings
