PerkinElmer is looking for Account Manager Life Science in BelgiumPerkinElmer’s drug discovery reagents cover a wide array of applications ranging from immunoassays platforms and kinase assays to reporter gene, cytotoxicity and cell proliferation assays. Our easy-to-use platforms provide greater sensitivity, wide dynamic range, and reduced background. From basic science to high throughput screening and lead optimization, PerkinElmer drug discovery reagents provide easy-to-use next generation assays every step of the way.Are you ready to help your customers with accelerating their drug discovery research?The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for achieving business targets, through sales development and field marketing programs, for the PerkinElmer Life Sciences portfolio across Belgium.Key Responsibilities
  • Sales of Drug discovery and imaging reagents and consumables
  • Sales of Multimode detection plate readers
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships in the biotech and pharma in Belgium
  • Constantly attempts to secure business in new accounts and follows customer account receivables
  • Attends seminars, exhibitions and demonstrations to promote business
Your Profile
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science, preferably immunology, biology and or cell biology
  • First experience in a sales role, preferably within reagents /life sciences, within a matrix organization (desired)
  • Fluent Dutch and English is a must have
  • Basic understanding of French is an advantage
  • Energetic, independent, with excellent organizational and team working skills, driving you to continuously seek new opportunities
  • Flexible, able to communicate with colleagues and customers, willingness to travel across the region and occasionally across boarders
  • Desire to learn, grow and take the lead in a sales role within a fast-paced matrix organization
