For a well-known company active in the medical sector in Brussels, we are looking for an Accounting Team-Leader. Are you dynamic, motivated and ambitious to develop as an accountant while managing a team? Then this might be your next dream-job!
The Accounting Team-Leader will be responsible for:
- You will handle a variety of tasks for the closing of accounts (monthly & quarterly reporting, establishing budgets,…)
- Handle VAT, and other tax declarations
- Publishing the financial statements
- Coordinating with external audit multiple times a year
- Managing a team of multiple accountants
- Automating and improvement of existing accounting procedures
- Ad hoc finance and accounting tasks
Profile of ideal Accounting Team-Leader:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
- 5-10 years of experience in accounting
- You are hands on, communicative, analytical and result-oriented
- You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French/Dutch)
- Prior experience with IFRS is a plus
