For a well-known company active in the medical sector in Brussels, we are looking for an Accounting Team-Leader. Are you dynamic, motivated and ambitious to develop as an accountant while managing a team? Then this might be your next dream-job!

The Accounting Team-Leader will be responsible for:

  • You will handle a variety of tasks for the closing of accounts (monthly & quarterly reporting, establishing budgets,…)
  • Handle VAT, and other tax declarations
  • Publishing the financial statements
  • Coordinating with external audit multiple times a year
  • Managing a team of multiple accountants
  • Automating and improvement of existing accounting procedures
  • Ad hoc finance and accounting tasks

Profile of ideal Accounting Team-Leader:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting
  • You are hands on, communicative, analytical and result-oriented
  • You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French/Dutch)
  • Prior experience with IFRS is a plus
